There are so many moments with our cats that we wish we could capture on camera. Moments that happen too fast, that live in our memories forever. Some people are lucky enough to capture them.

Living with cats is pure chaos. Anyone who tells you otherwise has not actually lived with a cat for a significant amount of time. Cats might act all shy and cute with you in the beginning, as they gain your trust and see if you are worthy of being shown their true colors. But eventually… the chaos happens. And when the chaos happens, it happens fast.

You're sitting there, when out of nowhere, your cat runs out of the hallway, does a backflip off the wall, runs headfirst into a chair, and then screams its little heart out like a gladiator before a battle, before running right back into the hallway. That happens. It happens more often than you would think. At least it does with our cats. And every time it happens, we end up with our jaws on the floor, regretting not having our phones out to capture that moment. But we suppose that during a time when we have our phones out nearly all the time, some people are bound to capture these chaotic cat moments on camera. Here are some of them.

It takes a special kind of luck to capture a moment like this one. A one in a million shot. Purrfect timing. Purrfect framing. The cat - completely oblivious to what is happening, just doing its own thing, living in its own reality. It's a glimpse into the chaos that, usually, only the people living with the cat get to witness. Cherish this, non-cat owners. This thread is something special indeed.

Of course, the one thing that these pictures don't capture is the aftermath. And the aftermath is no less important. It could be the cat looking ashamed, walking away, and pretending that nothing ever happened. It could be the cat looking at you and screaming as if you are entirely to blame for what happened to it. Part of the chaos is the cat's reaction to the chaos, and, for the better or worse, these pictures leave that for us to imagine.
